The effects of initial solution concentration, adsorption time and pH on the adsorption effect of activated alumina on phosphorus in water were investigated, and static adsorption experiments were carried out under suitable adsorption conditions of various factors, and the dosage of activated alumina was determined. Quasi-secondary dynamics were used to simulate the experimental data. The results showed that the higher the concentration of the initial solution and the longer the adsorption time, the greater the adsorption capacity of activated alumina to phosphorus. It is more accurate to use Langmuir adsorption isotherms to depict the adsorption properties of activated alumina. The adsorption kinetics of activated alumina on phosphorus in aqueous solution fit the quasi-secondary kinetic model, and the equilibrium adsorption capacity and quasi-secondary kinetic rate constants can be estimated, and the correlation coefficient is as high as 0.9999. Wastewater with phosphorus content of 12.36mg/L was treated with activated alumina, the experimental parameters were adsorption time 5h, pH was adjusted to 5~6, the dosage of activated alumina was 2g, and the adsorption capacity was 0.58mg/g.
