γ Aluminum oxide is insoluble in water and can be dissolved in strong acid or alkali solutions. It will completely convert into α Aluminum oxide when heating it to 1200 ℃. γ Aluminum oxide is a porous substance with an internal surface area of hundreds of square meters per gram, high activity and strong adsorption capacity. Industrial products are often colorless or slightly pink cylindrical particles with good pressure resistance.
This product could be used as raw material for pesticide in the new type b phosphorus aluminum bacteriacide, adsorbent for pharmaceutical production Vb12 and active fiter for paint production. It is good raw material for catalyst and anhydrous aluminum chloride. It is also widely used in pharmaceutical,chemical and other industries.
